[The foregoing and following sections were reassembled from fragments and the resulting assemblage is clearly proper. Although the two sections appear to be front and back of the same sheet of paper, the 2nd section appears incomplete and bears no apparent relationship to the 1st except that the two sections were obviously from the same hand. It seems that other fragments (possibly showing a relationship between the two sections) have been lost]

the South keep not back bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth." We have come from the nations of the earth to the tops of the mountains to erect a house to the God of Jacob that we may learn of his ways and walk in his paths. God has again spoken to men upon the earth. "The lord shall suddenly come to his temple." I bear my testimony to you my Parents — Brothers — Sisters — Relatives and Friends in all sincerity and soberness before God angels the heavens and the earth — that Mormonism is true — I have obeyed its ordinances and received of its spirit and realized that there is a God that reveals his secrets to the children of men. And that He loves His children on this continent as well as those of the old world and can speak to them as well. Elijah and Elisha were not Jews so God can speak to others as well as Judah. And He is a God — with body parts and passions — that which has no limits and extensions is nothing. He has hands ears eyes etc man is made in his likeness and image. God came down to see the tower that the children of men builded so says the Bible and if He came down it taken time — and He was not there before He started — And when we leave here we will not go to a world beyond the bounds of time and space — thats another deffinition for the word nothing, excuse me. I did not sit Down to write what I have written — |
